One of the founders of Curvesity Entertainment is Sonia C. Anglin-Nelson better known as "Ms. Curvesity". Not only is she one of NY's most respected and renowned promoter's, she is also still very active on her high school reunion committee and hostess to many other groups on different social sites.

Sonia resides in Baldwin, L.I. She received an honorary diploma from Freeport High School and also an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from New York Institute of Technology. Sonia is also a proud Sigma Dove (China #3-Spr.86-Pi Tau Chapter) for the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. (Teee--SOP/ OOO-COO/AHH-OOO-AHH/ BLUUU-SWEET)

In Her Own Words…

I have been employed for over 20 years with the Federal Government and in my spare time (which I get very little) I like spending time and having fun with my loved ones, networking, traveling and exploring different activities.

My 20+ years of dealing with the public and promoting helped me to become one of the more impeccable party and events promoter of this new millennium. I have had the opportunity to organize and participate in all types of functions from after work to formal affairs. I bring a wealth of valued connections and have developed an impressive roster of personal contacts as well as a list of clients & people positively involved in the plus-size world.

I will continue to soar to new heights, making sure the plus-size world will be seen in a positive and highly respected light. I have expanded my group of friends and associates in the past years that people of all sizes and backgrounds have joined me at our events to show support and understand the importance of making people aware of the plus size community.

I want to continue to be one of the strong voices for the plus size community and one that offers information and empowerment as well as fun for the plus size world. I am hoping that I can continue to help change or improve life for the better while keeping the confidence and happiness in the plus world. "I'm proud to be Full-Figured and Fabulous". My future for Curvesity Entertainment in this life, is just "Making The Big Difference” with this in mind all I would like to say is remember, "Think Positive" and continue with "Quality & Quantity".
